What’s the idea behind the Process Modeller?

In the world of BPM there are many suppliers of professional BPM tools and BPM professionals.

The idea behind the Process Modeller app is to make BPM more accessible for non BPM specialists who actually participate in processes. We claim that successful BPM depends largely on the extent to which employees get actively involved.

We do not pretend that the Process Modeller is a full size BPM tool.

But what we dare to claim that it is a very practical high value instrument for BPM professionals and managers who want to make there business more efficient.

Can I make changes in the swim lane or other process views?

The modeller draws the swim lanes itself straight from the procesflow view.

So if you make a change in the procesflow, for example by editing an icon in the procesflow or a function, the modeller automatically draws the changes in the swim lane view and all the other views. This way you can look at a process from different perspectives.

You can only make changes form the active procesflow view.

How can I change the language settings?

The app uses the same language you have selected in the tablet settings menu. For example if you change the language of your iPad or tablet to English, the app will also change to English.

Is it possible to change the box-size to have more text in it?
No, it’s not possible to change the size of the various boxes.
For the elements (goals, resources, etc.) you can just add an element of the same type if you need more space for your text.
For the diagram icons you can enter lengthy texts in the description field (you can copy/paste text from a text editor if you prefer).

At the moment only Sensus  Software has made it possible to import processes from the Process-modeller to their BPM tool.

If you are using another BPM tool you can inform your BPM software supplier of the possibility en ask them to contact us.
